Deep dive

Subscription Modeler: the complete GTA 6 guide

01

What Subscription Modeler calculates

Subscription Modeler is a GTA 6 / GTA 6 Online math tool. Each field corresponds to a stat in-game: setup fees, prep run costs, ammo spent, vehicle call-outs, crew cuts and percentage bonuses from weekly events. The default numbers reflect a common scenario rather than the optimal one - they are meant to show you what happens when you modify things. All calculations are performed in-browser locally on your machine. No information is transmitted to any external locations. Numbers are derived from publicly posted Rockstar values and community-confirmed playtest data. Results are generally within a few percent of in-game values.

02

Running what-if scenarios

Results update live, so only change one input at a time and observe. Players rarely venture past one heist/business setup. Discover obscure benefits within 5 minutes by trying three different crew splits or MC business combos. Plan for the long term with realistic average payouts, not best-case ones. Best-case math is how people go broke after a session. If something only works with maximum boosts and zero failures, it's a weak strategy that isn't worth your weekly grind.

03

Reading the highlighted result

The highlighted line at the bottom is your key number - usually net profit after expenses, expected payout per hour, or ROI on your time invested. The rows above it are there so you know where your money came from and where it went, so you can plug the biggest hole first. Click or hover over any row to see a one-line description of the formula. Remember that the purpose of this tool isn't just getting an answer - it's learning the math behind how that answer is calculated so you can do it yourself mentally next time.

04

Sanity checking the output

If you suspect something is off about a result, change one of the inputs to something extreme and observe how the highlighted number reacts. Tools with consistent math will degrade in predictable ways. Subscription Modeler does just that, and the results match up with community-confirmed GTA 6 Online payouts within a few percent. Multiply payouts by the current Rockstar multiplier (typically 1.5x or 2x) during weekly bonus events. We adjust base payout amounts when permanent balance changes are made to the live game, but this multiplier changes week to week.
